Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL) has announced an increase in special energy and night shift allowances for its contractual employees as a festive gift ahead of Diwali. Managing Director Dr. Sandeep Singhal issued an official order outlining the details of the allowance hike.
According to the new order, UJVNL will grant a special energy allowance of ₹800 per month for unskilled employees, ₹950 for semi-skilled, ₹1,100 for skilled, and ₹1,350 for highly skilled workers.
For operational staff, third-class employees will receive a night shift allowance of ₹800 per month, with a deduction of ₹100 per shift for absence. Fourth-class operational staff will be granted ₹500 per month for night shifts, with a ₹60 deduction per shift for any missed duties.
