Uttarakhand – A major revelation has emerged in the IBPS solver case after the arrest of notorious solver Rishi Kumar from a Dehradun examination centre. Police investigations have confirmed that 12 individuals who secured jobs in different banks using Rishi Kumar as a solver have already been suspended by their respective banks and are now under the scanner of law enforcement agencies.
According to Dehradun police, Rishi Kumar’s arrest led to a deeper scrutiny of past examination data. During this process, it was found that the IBPS software had earlier flagged irregularities linked to certain candidates. Based on these technical alerts, banks had suspended 12 employees, though at that time the identity of the actual solver remained unknown.
After Rishi Kumar was caught, police matched his photographs and biometric data with earlier examination records. The analysis revealed that in all 12 suspicious cases, the exams were taken by Rishi Kumar himself on behalf of different candidates. This has established a direct link between the solver and the suspended bank employees.
Police officials are now treating the matter as a larger criminal conspiracy. Investigators are probing how much money Rishi Kumar charged each beneficiary and whether any bank staff or examination centre employees were involved in facilitating the fraud. The role of insiders, if any, is being examined seriously.
Sources associated with the investigation stated that Rishi Kumar used his educational background to identify loopholes in the examination system. By altering appearances and exploiting biometric vulnerabilities, he managed to appear in multiple exams undetected for a long period.

All 12 suspended employees are likely to be summoned to Dehradun for questioning in the coming days. With fresh evidence surfacing, police have reiterated that Rishi Kumar operated as a professional solver, even though he has claimed that the recent IBPS exam was taken for himself. His documents and financial records are currently under detailed verification.
