The UKSSSC driver recruitment process has been announced for 72 posts across various government departments in Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released the official notification, with online applications set to begin from April 17, 2026.
According to Commission Secretary Dr. Shiv Kumar Barnwal, candidates applying under the UKSSSC driver recruitment must submit essential documents during the online process. These include a हाईस्कूल certificate for name and date of birth verification, Aadhaar card copies, category certificates, and experience certificates where required.
The application window for the UKSSSC driver recruitment will remain open from April 17 to May 7, 2026. Candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their application forms between May 11 and May 13. The written examination is tentatively scheduled for June 21, 2026.
The recruitment drive covers multiple departments. The State Tax Department has the highest number of vacancies with 16 driver posts. Other vacancies include nine posts each in the Prison Administration and Social Welfare departments, seven in the Rural Development Department, and six each in the Geology and Mining Directorate and the District Magistrate Office in Pauri Garhwal.
Additional posts include five in the NCC Directorate, three in the Directorate of Departmental Accounts, three in the Chamoli DM office, two in the Almora DM office, and one post each in Champawat and Pithoragarh districts. One post is also available at the Dr. R.S. Tolia Uttarakhand Academy of Administration, along with two posts in the Transport Department.
