Get All Electricity Bill Information from Home – Toll-Free Number 1912

Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) has introduced several new initiatives to improve services for electricity consumers. These include the operation of a centralized call center, the launch of a consumer self-service mobile app, and the organization of mega camps to address concerns.

UPCL operates a 24×7 centralized call center from its headquarters to quickly resolve electricity-related issues. The call center works in three shifts with a total of 105 Consumer Service Representatives (CSR), including 64 male and 41 female operators. Consumers can call the toll-free number 1912 to inquire about smart meter systems and register complaints. Upon filing a complaint, a unique complaint number is generated, and consumers can track the status of their complaints via the mobile app.

In addition to the mobile app, consumers can use online platforms like the UPCL website (www.upcl.org), email ([email protected]), or the toll-free number 1912 to register complaints. The centralized call center handles over 500 calls daily, providing swift solutions to electricity-related issues. Last month, all complaints related to power outages were resolved on the spot, and remaining issues, such as meter replacement and pole installation, will be addressed in the coming days.

For unresolved complaints, consumers can also visit local UPCL service centers to register their issues. UPCL Managing Director has instructed all regional officers to ensure that service centers provide comfortable seating and dedicated lines for bill payments, especially for women, the elderly, and differently-abled individuals.
