Multipurpose Camp Held in Raipur Under the Supervision of DM Savin Bansal

Dehradun, October 24, 2024: A multipurpose camp was organized at Raika Inter College, Raipur Block, under the leadership of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, along with local MLA Umesh Sharma Kau and Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh. The camp saw a large turnout, with numerous residents attending to present their grievances.

Known for his swift decision-making and action-oriented approach, DM Bansal directed the officials to promptly address public complaints. One of the immediate actions taken included sending an electricity department team to replace faulty meters, much to the gratitude of the beneficiaries. The DM personally heard the grievances of elderly citizens and women, resolving most issues on the spot.

During the camp, DM Bansal emphasized that no one should leave without their concerns addressed. He instructed officials to ensure that grievances, especially those of senior citizens and women, are resolved quickly and that any unresolved issues should be followed up with time-bound solutions.

The DM also visited various departmental stalls set up at the camp, where services such as Ayushman Cards, Aadhar Cards, Ration Cards, PM Kisan applications, and pension applications were processed. On-the-spot land demarcation orders were issued, and the concerned officials were instructed to keep complainants informed of actions taken.

Several departments provided additional assistance during the camp:

  • Pashupalan Department distributed checks worth INR 1 lakh each to 8 beneficiaries.
  • Agriculture Department provided tools and grant checks to beneficiaries, including checks of INR 80,000 and INR 32,000.
  • Health Department conducted health checkups for 350 people, distributed medicines, and performed 18 minor surgeries on-site. Additionally, 94 people received their Ayushman Cards.
  • Revenue Department issued 48 certificates, including income, survivor, domicile, and caste certificates, on the spot.
  • Employment Department conducted career counseling sessions for 193 students (102 girls and 91 boys).

The Social Welfare Department approved old age pension applications for 6 beneficiaries, while 5 individuals received their Ration Cards on the spot. Labor Department distributed over 500 blankets to eligible recipients, and equipment, including wheelchairs, was given to differently-abled individuals.

Key officials present at the camp included Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Harigiri, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Jain, and District Development Officer Sunil Kumar, along with other departmental officers and staff.
