District Magistrate Savin Bansal had earlier directed Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Jaybharat Singh to investigate and address the issue. Upon inspection, the ADM, accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Vikasnagar, discovered unauthorized plotting activities on the village’s communal land.
Following the inspection, the administration employed JCB machines to demolish the illegal structures. ADM Jaybharat Singh issued a stern warning, stating that any future encroachment on government property would not only face immediate demolition but also lead to legal action against those involved.
The administration’s swift action has been welcomed by the residents of Sherpur, who had raised the issue to protect the village’s communal resources.
