CM Dhami Allocates ₹1.35 Crore for Cold Wave Relief Across Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a total amount of ₹1.35 crore for combating the impact of the cold wave in the state. This allocation aims to fund the lighting of bonfires and the distribution of blankets, in line with guidelines from the central and state governments, following practices from previous years.

Under this initiative, ₹10 lakh has been sanctioned for each of the 12 districts, while Pauri Garhwal has been allocated ₹15 lakh, making the total approved amount ₹135 lakh. This measure seeks to provide timely relief to residents facing the challenges of harsh winter conditions.
