Dehradun, 27 Oct: A businessman has filed a complaint at Basant Vihar Police Station against a company manager who allegedly took goods worth Rs 18,73,802 and went missing.
The complainant, Pankaj Kumar Jain, owner of Jain Pharma, located at Balliwala Chowk, stated that the accused, Pradeep Chandra Joshi, works as a Regional Manager at Himalaya Wellness Co.
According to Pankaj Jain, their firm holds the distribution rights for Himalaya products. He said that Pradeep Joshi purchased goods from his firm under different party names and later fled without making the payment.
The total value of the goods is about Rs 18.73 lakh. Jain also mentioned that Joshi’s mobile phone has been switched off for the last two days, and he is not traceable.
Police have received the complaint and confirmed that an inquiry into the matter is underway.
