The Uttarakhand Police has solved a blind murder case in Dehradun, revealing that a woman found dead in the Manduwala forest was allegedly killed by her husband.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Pramendra Dobhal, the accused has been arrested after a detailed investigation. The woman’s body was recovered from the forest area of Manduwala, where it had been dumped inside a sack.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime and revealed the motive behind the हत्या. Police said that around four years ago, the woman had married another person, after which the accused also entered into a second marriage.
About a year ago, the woman reportedly separated from her second husband and re-established contact with the आरोपी. Nearly a month ago, she came to live with him along with her 11-month-old child. Police said she was pressuring the accused to leave his second wife and live with her permanently.
Unable to handle the pressure, the accused allegedly murdered her and disposed of the body in the forest to mislead investigators.Police have taken the accused into custody and further legal proceedings are underway.
