Haridwar – In Ranipur Kotwali area, the administration carried out a major anti-encroachment drive near Pathri Roh bridge, where an illegal dargah built on about two bighas of government land was demolished.
The Irrigation Department had earlier issued a notice to the dargah management, directing them to remove the encroachment. However, after the deadline expired without action, the administration moved in with bulldozers today.
Following Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s directives, the state has intensified its campaign against illegal constructions on government property. The operation was carried out in the presence of a heavy police force and administrative officials. Authorities stated that no illegal structure on government land will be tolerated under any circumstances.
