Kedarnath Temple Decorated with Flowers for Diwali and Winter Closure

Kedarnath Dham, October 30 – The sacred Kedarnath Temple is being beautifully adorned with over 10 quintals of flowers in celebration of Diwali and its upcoming winter closure. According to the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee’s media spokesperson, Dr. Harish Gaur, the temple will close for the winter season on Bhai Dooj, Sunday, November 3, at 8:30 AM.

On Tuesday, the Bhukunt Bhairavnath Temple in Kedarnath also closed its doors for the winter, marking the beginning of the temple closure process across the region. Following Kedarnath, the Badrinath Temple will close on November 17, Tunganath (the third Kedar) on November 4, and Madhyamaheshwar (the second Kedar) on November 20.
