Dehradun – In a late-night administrative reshuffle on Monday, the Uttarakhand government transferred 16 officials, including 13 IAS officers. Several officers were assigned additional responsibilities, while some had departments withdrawn.
New Assignments for Key Officials
Secretary Yugal Kishore Pant has been given charge of the Language Department, while his other portfolios remain unchanged. Additional Secretary Sonika has been assigned the Civil Aviation Department. Meanwhile, Additional Secretary Vinit Kumar has been relieved of the Planning Department. Additional Secretary Reena Joshi has been given the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of the State Health Authority, whereas Additional Secretary Anand Srivastava has been reassigned from the State Health Authority to the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department.
Transfers of Manuj Goyal and Nikita Khandelwal
Additional Secretary Manuj Goyal has been relieved of Rural Development, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, and Director RIP responsibilities. He has now been assigned the Sainik Welfare and Higher Education departments. Additional Secretary Nikita Khandelwal has been shifted from Rural Development and Director of Urban Development to handle Information Technology, Suraj, and Science & Technology.
Haridwar Municipal Commissioner and CDO Transfers
Haridwar Municipal Commissioner Ajay Chaudhary has been transferred to the post of Additional Secretary, Medical Health & Family Welfare. Chief Development Officer (CDO) Nandan Kumar will now serve as the new Municipal Commissioner of Haridwar. Director Panchayati Raj Nidhi Yadav has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare.
Additionally, Mahaveer Singh Chauhan has been assigned General Administration and Protocol in the Secretariat Service, while Shyam Singh has been appointed to the Sugarcane Development & Sugar Industry Department.
