Uttarakhand – The Timmersain Cave near Niti village on the India-China border is attracting a growing number of devotees as a naturally formed ice Shivling has appeared inside the cave. Every winter, ice formations inside the cave naturally take the shape of a Shivling, and people visit to seek blessings of Baba Barfani from December to March.
Devotees from different parts of the country are reaching the cave for darshan. Abhishek and Monika, who traveled from Hyderabad, said they had heard about the place and finally got the chance to witness it this year. Raghuvir Singh from Gamshali village also visited with his family and said the experience brought peace and spiritual comfort, along with the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

However, due to increasing tourist flow, locals say there is a need for better basic facilities and improved route management for visitors, especially during heavy snowfall months.
