Someshwar – Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya interacted with residents of Beh Gagil and Bimola villages in Someshwar, Almora, where she heard public concerns and announced multiple development measures. She informed that ₹90 lakh has been approved for the expansion of an irrigation scheme and declared financial support for four projects through MLA funds.

During the programme, Arya said the government is committed to strengthening local infrastructure. She directed officials to shift students from the dilapidated primary school building in Beh to a nearby inter college to ensure safety. She also assured funding for an Anganwadi centre and mini stadium, provided villagers arrange suitable land.

Arya additionally announced ₹2.5 lakh from MLA funds for the construction of a CC road between Khaniya Top and Pitora. At the event held in Bimola, she declared ₹2 lakh each for the beautification of the local Devi temple, development of the Kosi Barrage–Talla Bimola road, and facility upgrades at the cremation site. She also assured allocation under the district plan for the renovation of the primary school.

Emphasising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, Arya highlighted the role of women empowerment and regional development. BJP district president Mahesh Nayal, Mandal president Ganesh Jalal, district vice president Devendra Nayal, and MLA representative Bhuvan Joshi along with several party workers were present.
