Uttarakhand Hikes DA for Pensioners by 3%, Effective from July 1, 2025

Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has approved a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for pensioners and family pensioners under the Seventh Pay Commission. With this increase, the DA rate will rise from 55% to 58%. Finance Secretary Dilip Jawalkar issued the official order on Monday, confirming that the revised rate will be effective from July 1, 2025.

This decision comes shortly after the state government raised the DA for government employees by 3% on October 11. The latest move extends similar relief to pensioners and family pensioners, benefiting nearly 40,000 individuals across the state.
