The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has issued a notification for the direct recruitment of 2,000 vacancies for Group ‘G’ positions under the Uttarakhand Police Department. This includes 1,600 posts for District Police Constables (Male) and 400 posts for PAC/IRB Constables (Male). Interested candidates can apply online from November 8, 2024, to November 29, 2024, via the commission’s official website, www.sssc.uk.gov.in.
In this recruitment drive, 400 positions have been reserved for female candidates as well. The selection process will consist of a Physical Standard Test (PST) followed by a written examination. The written exam is scheduled for January 15, 2025, aimed at selecting qualified candidates.
