DAV College Clash: Student Stabbed After CM Dhami Leaves Event

Tension erupted at DAV PG College in Dehradun after a clash broke out among students during a student union समारोह, shortly after Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami left the venue. The incident left one student injured with a knife wound.

The event featured a live performance by Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma, attracting a large number of students. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the programme as the chief guest and addressed the gathering, highlighting the role of youth as both the present and future of the country.

According to reports, the situation turned violent after the Chief Minister departed. During a dance session, a dispute broke out among students, which soon escalated into a physical confrontation. In the scuffle, a student identified as Gaurav sustained a knife injury.

The injured student was immediately taken to the college dispensary, where he was given first aid. The severity of his injuries has not been officially confirmed.

The DAV College clash has raised concerns over security arrangements during large campus events. Authorities are expected to review the incident and take necessary action to prevent such occurrences in the future.
