Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has announced a new proposed schedule for 26 recruitment examinations to select candidates for around 3,600 Group-C direct recruitment posts across various departments.
The examinations are scheduled to be conducted between September 2026 and February 2027. The commission has announced proposed examination dates for different posts, while physical efficiency tests have also been planned for some positions.
UKSSSC Chairman G.S. Martolia said the schedule is provisional and not the final examination calendar. He added that some dates could be changed if they clash with other major examinations.
Proposed UKSSSC Exam Schedule for September
The examination for Livestock Extension Officer and Surveyor is proposed for September 20, while the examination for Assistant Boring Technician and Computer Programmer is scheduled for September 27.
Exams Scheduled in October
The examination for Junior Cameraman, Photocopy Machine Operator, Projectionist, Assistant Accountant, Research Officer and Photographer is proposed for October 4.
The examination for Artist-Cartographer, Agriculture (Intermediate-Graduate) and Law Assistant is scheduled for October 11.
The examination for Adventure Sports Officer, Cameraman and Technical Assistant (History) is proposed for October 18.
Examinations for Lineman, Psychologist, Instructor and Junior Assistant, along with related posts, are proposed for October 25.
November Recruitment Examinations
The examination for Tourism Officer and Personal Assistant is proposed for November 1, followed by the Junior Assistant examination on November 15.
The commission has proposed starting the physical efficiency test for the Scaler post from November 19.
December Examinations
The examination for Assistant Teacher, LT Sanskrit is scheduled for December 6.
The examination for posts requiring ITI or diploma qualifications is proposed for December 13.
January and February 2027 Exams
The examination for posts requiring science qualifications is proposed for January 17, 2027.
The examination for graduate-level posts is scheduled for February 7, 2027.
The UKSSSC has advised candidates to keep track of further announcements from the commission, as the proposed dates may be revised depending on administrative requirements and clashes with other major examinations.
