Haridwar Ardh Kumbh 2027

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday launched the official logo, website and theme song for Haridwar Ardh Kumbh 2027 at the Mela Control Building (CCR) auditorium in Haridwar. The initiative aims to showcase the city’s religious heritage, the significance of the Ganga and the traditions associated with the festival to audiences across India and abroad.

The official website will provide devotees and the public with verified information about the event. The theme song, titled Kumbh Ka Parv Aa Gaya, will also help spread awareness about the upcoming religious gathering.

Speaking at the launch, Dhami described Kumbh as a major celebration of India’s ancient spiritual traditions, Sanatan culture and public faith. He said the state government was committed to organising Ardh Kumbh 2027 on a grand scale, following the arrangements associated with Kumbh.

Logo Highlights Haridwar’s Religious Heritage

The official logo incorporates several prominent symbols associated with Haridwar and its religious identity. These include the Ganga, the Har Ki Pauri area, Dhanush Bridge, a sunrise, a statue of Lord Shiva, saints and ascetics, a trident, a damru, and the hills associated with the Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temples.

The design was selected through a process that invited entries from young people and students across Uttarakhand. After reviewing hundreds of submissions, the selection process shortlisted 13 designs. The final logo was created by Madhu Sharma, a resident of Jagjeetpur in Haridwar.

The official theme song begins with the lines, “Sadhu aur santon ke man mein harsh chha gaya, Kumbh ka parv aa gaya.” Haridwar-based singer Raghav Raja composed the lyrics, performed the vocals and created the music for the song.
