Amit Shah to Visit Dehradun on November 6 for BJP Rally, Possible Core Committee Meeting

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Dehradun on November 6, where he is expected to attend a BJP rally at Parade Ground and participate in a police event. The party is preparing for a large gathering under the campaign slogan “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy.”

According to BJP Uttarakhand president Mahendra Bhatt, a large march will be organised at Parade Ground in the presence of Shah. The party expects more than 25,000 workers from Dehradun city, Dehradun rural, Rishikesh and Haridwar district to attend.

Shah is scheduled to first participate in a programme at Police Lines before addressing the gathering at Parade Ground. The visit is also expected to include a possible meeting of the BJP’s state core committee in the evening.

BJP prepares for large gathering

Bhatt said the party was making arrangements for the march and claimed that BJP workers were enthusiastic about hearing Shah’s address and guidance.

He also criticised the opposition, alleging that its political campaign was based on misleading and negative politics. Bhatt claimed that public support for the BJP’s programme in Dehradun would exceed the turnout at an opposition event in Delhi.

These remarks reflect the BJP’s political position ahead of the proposed gathering. The party has described the march as an effort to mobilise support for what it calls the protection of democratic processes.

Core committee meeting may discuss election strategy

A BJP state core committee meeting is tentatively scheduled for the evening of November 6. Shah may attend the meeting, although the party has not confirmed his participation.

The meeting is expected to discuss organisational matters and the party’s strategy ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. It may also consider ways to strengthen the party’s political campaign in the state.

Bhatt said the meeting had been proposed, but a final decision was yet to be taken.

State executive meeting proposed in Haridwar

The BJP is also planning to hold its state executive committee meeting in Haridwar on November 19 and 20.

Bhatt said the dates had been proposed, but the final decision on the meeting was still pending.

The November 6 visit and proposed party meetings are expected to bring senior BJP leaders and workers together in Dehradun as the party prepares for its upcoming political activities.
