Pandavaas Release ‘Adag Adag Agwadi Hit’ for National Games

Dehradun: To mark the upcoming National Games in Uttarakhand, the renowned Pandavaas band has released an inspiring song titled “Adag Adag Agwadi Hit, Preet Badha, Reet Badha.” The three-minute anthem, under the tagline “Halla Dhoom Dhadakka,” beautifully encapsulates the vibrant spirit of sports and Uttarakhand’s rich cultural heritage.

The song, sung by Shivani Bhagwat, Ishan Dobhal, and Sushant Bhatt, features traditional Uttarakhandi attire and the rhythmic beats of dhol-damau, highlighting the state’s cultural roots. The video, shot in Dehradun Stadium and surrounding areas, radiates energy and enthusiasm.

Ishan Dobhal, a member of Pandavaas, expressed pride in creating this anthem, emphasizing the creative freedom they enjoyed, which added to its impact. Special Principal Secretary for Sports, Amit Sinha, lauded the song as a source of inspiration for both athletes and youth.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called the National Games a golden opportunity to showcase Uttarakhand’s local talent and folk culture on a national platform. Sports Minister Rekha Arya praised the song’s blend of Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Hindi, stating it beautifully captures the essence of the state’s traditions while evoking energy and excitement.
