FIR Filed Against CM Atishi and AAP for Election Violations in Delhi

Delhi Police has registered an FIR against Chief Minister Atishi for allegedly using a government vehicle for election campaigning in Govindpuri. Additionally, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) faces legal action for allegedly using fake photographs in its campaign materials. A special committee has been formed to investigate the allegations.

Nomination Delayed, Atishi to File Papers on Tuesday

Atishi, the AAP candidate from Kalkaji Assembly Constituency, held a nomination rally on Monday but missed filing her nomination due to delays. She is now scheduled to file her papers on Tuesday. Before the rally, she offered prayers at the Kalkaji Temple and paid respects at the Giri Nagar Gurudwara.

Manish Sisodia Calls Election a Shared Fight

Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, speaking at the rally, described the election as a fight for the education, health, and future of every Delhi family. He revealed that ₹40 lakh, required for Atishi’s campaign, was donated by 350 supporters from across the country.

Massive Turnout at Road Show

Atishi’s roadshow, spanning 1.5 kilometers from the Giri Nagar Gurudwara to Anand Mai Marg, witnessed a massive gathering of supporters. The event showcased strong public backing for AAP’s campaign efforts.
