Hardeep Puri Criticizes Rahul Gandhi’s Statements, Suggests Mental Stability Check

A political storm erupted following Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s comments targeting the RSS, BJP, and Election Commission. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri responded sharply, suggesting that Gandhi should undergo a mental stability check.

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia called Gandhi an “immature leader,” accusing him of being influenced by anti-national forces and making statements harmful to India’s sovereignty. Bhatia added that India deserves a responsible and credible Leader of Opposition.

BJP President JP Nadda attacked the Congress party, alleging a history of siding with forces weakening the nation. He described Gandhi’s ideology as “rotten,” asserting that the Indian public has already rejected it.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also weighed in, criticizing Gandhi for his remarks on the Constitution and accusing him of fighting against BJP and RSS while taking an oath under the Constitution.

Rahul Gandhi’s allegations included claims that the BJP and RSS have taken control of nearly every institution in India. He also raised concerns about the addition of one crore new voters in Maharashtra elections and questioned the transparency of the Election Commission.
