Netaji Bose Jayanti: PM Modi Engages with Students on Parakram Diwas

On the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the nation celebrated Parakram Diwas with fervor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to Netaji at the Central Hall of the Constitution House. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other leaders also honored the freedom fighter’s legacy.

PM Modi’s Interaction with Students

PM Modi engaged with students, discussing India’s development goals for 2047, Netaji’s slogans, and the significance of his birth anniversary. The students enthusiastically recited inspiring slogans like “Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Azaadi Dunga” (Give me blood, and I will give you freedom). PM Modi emphasized the importance of envisioning a developed India by 2047 and encouraged students to contribute to this vision.

Key Announcements

During the session, the Prime Minister announced the allocation of 1,200 electric buses for Delhi and plans to introduce 10,000 more across the country. He also highlighted the benefits of the Surya Ghar: Free Electricity Scheme for citizens.

The event concluded with everyone uniting to chant “Jai Hind,” echoing Netaji’s patriotic spirit.
