A shocking incident unfolded in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, on Wednesday morning when a man killed his wife and then attempted to take his own life.
The scene turned chaotic after the incident, with the accused found critically injured with deep cuts on his neck and hands. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. Meanwhile, the couple’s nine and seven-year-old children were left devastated, crying beside their mother’s lifeless body and their wounded father.
Police have taken custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched, but the motive behind the murder is yet to be revealed.
