Latu Devta Temple Doors Open in Wan, CM Dhami Offers Prayers

The sacred Latu Devta temple in Wan, Chamoli district, opened its doors to devotees today amid religious fervor. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present on the occasion and performed rituals at the shrine. During his visit, CM Dhami announced that Wan and the revered Latu Dham would be developed further, especially in preparation for the grand Nanda Devi Rajjat Yatra scheduled for 2026.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of the Rajjat Yatra, calling it a divine cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. He directed officials to begin preparations well in advance to ensure the 2026 event is organized on a grand and spiritual scale.

Due to adverse weather conditions, CM Dhami could not hold a separate review meeting with officials about the yatra preparations. However, from the stage itself, he instructed authorities to initiate relevant works and assured that he would personally monitor the progress and planning.

Additionally, CM Dhami promised that the proposed Sub-District Hospital in Kulsari, under the Tharali Assembly, would be constructed soon to improve healthcare access for locals in the region.
