Uttarakhand CM Approves ₹350 Crore for Development Projects in 70 Constituencies

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved ₹350 crore for development works in all 70 assembly constituencies under the MLA Local Area Development Fund. Each legislator will receive ₹5 crore for projects in their respective constituencies. The fund allocation follows a structured ratio: 78% for general category areas, 19% for Scheduled Castes, and 3% for Scheduled Tribes.

Among the approved projects, ₹3.71 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of a new motor road from Dehlchauri to Kanda Mandir via Chamapani-Dhaulakandi in Pauri. In Haridwar Rural constituency, ₹5.44 crore has been approved for the construction of a 36-meter span pre-stressed RCC bridge over the Pathri Roh River near Sukrasa village. Additionally, ₹4.45 crore will be spent on strengthening and ensuring road safety along the Khankara-Chatikhal motor road in Rudraprayag’s Augustmuni block.

Under the state plan, ₹7.28 crore has been allocated for constructing a suspension bridge on the pedestrian route to Panch Kedar Masta Madmaheshwar temple in Ukhimath block (Kedarnath constituency). In Pratapnagar, ₹3.61 crore has been approved for upgrading and tarring the Syalgi-Juladgaon-Dodak-Thapla motor road.

Furthermore, ₹2.18 crore has been sanctioned for power supply infrastructure under the PM Awas Yojana (Urban) in the Manpur-Kashipur housing project.
