Army Eradicated Terrorism at the Root, Brought Pakistan to Its Knees: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking at a programme at Dr. KNS Memorial Hospital in Lucknow, asserted that India’s armed forces have effectively eliminated terrorism across the border with surgical precision. He praised the Indian Army for acting like a skilled surgeon, targeting the roots of terrorism without harming civilian areas, and said Pakistan’s military has been brought to its knees.

Singh recalled agreeing to attend the event a month ago, despite uncertain circumstances. He commended the armed forces for their dedication and compared soldiers and doctors as equals, both serving and protecting citizens with unmatched commitment.

He also shared a personal story about the hospital’s founder, Dr. K.M. Singh, who left a successful life in the U.S. to serve India. Singh said that despite personal tragedy—losing his mother in 1997 due to lack of medical facilities—Dr. Singh turned his pain into purpose, creating a lasting impact.

Highlighting rising health concerns, Singh warned about India’s growing lifestyle diseases, especially diabetes, stating that India has become the diabetes capital with over 10 crore patients. He hailed doctors as true heroes, especially for their role during the COVID-19 pandemic, and urged society to recognize and thank them.
