Severe Collision Between Uttarakhand Roadways and Hathras Depot Buses in Hathras; Driver Dies, Several Injured

In Hathras district’s Kotwali Chandpa area, a severe head-on collision occurred on Wednesday morning between buses of Uttarakhand Roadways and Hathras Depot. The accident caused chaos at the scene, with passengers screaming in panic. The driver of the Hathras Depot bus died on the spot, while several passengers sustained injuries.

According to reports, the bus from Kathgodam Depot heading towards Agra collided with the Hathras Depot bus near the village Meetai on Agra Road. The Kathgodam bus driver, Yunus Khan, along with conductor Deepak Kumar and other passengers, were seriously injured in the crash.

Local police promptly reached the spot and shifted all the injured to the district hospital. Due to the critical condition of three passengers, they were referred to Aligarh for advanced treatment. It is noted that the Uttarakhand Roadways bus had departed from Haldwani on Tuesday night for Agra.
