In a show of patriotism and solidarity with the armed forces, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra in Garud, Bageshwar to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor. The yatra was led by district president Prabha Gadhiya, with participants marching from Panjas Tiraha to Baijnath, waving the national flag with pride.
Shiv Singh Bisht, Vice Chairman of the PMGSY Monitoring Committee, lauded the Indian Army’s strong response to terrorism, stating that the armed forces had given a befitting reply to the enemies. Local MLA Parvati Das paid tribute to the martyrs and congratulated the Indian Army for its courage and success.
Students from various schools of the town also participated in the yatra, adding youthful energy and enthusiasm to the event. Among the notable attendees were District Panchayat Administrator Basanti Dev, Block Administrator Hema Bisht, and other local leaders including Devendra Goswami, Ghanshyam Joshi, Janardan Lohani, Sunil Dosaad, Chandan Bora, and Naresh Bisht.
