Uttarakhand CM Reaffirms Commitment to Promoting Ayurveda

In Dehradun on Monday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the proceedings release ceremony of the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo at a city hotel. He stated that the state government is fully committed to advancing Ayurveda, with plans to develop one model AYUSH village in every district and establish new yoga and wellness centers across the region.

The CM expressed pride that the land of the gods, Uttarakhand, successfully hosted the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo. He added that the released proceedings are not just a record of the event, but a valuable compilation of knowledge, experiences, and in-depth discussions that will guide future research, policymaking, and public health initiatives in the field of Ayurveda.

Dhami also highlighted that through the Congress and Expo, Uttarakhand has not only showcased Ayurveda’s potential for achieving optimal health to India but has also spread the timeless message of “Sarve Santu Niramayah” — a call for universal well-being rooted in Sanatan Hindu culture — to audiences around the globe.
