BJP Workshop: PM Modi Seen in Last Row, Honoured for GST Reforms

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a two-day workshop for its MPs in the Parliament complex to discuss preparations for the upcoming Vice Presidential election. During the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen sitting in the last row like an ordinary party worker. His gesture was highlighted by BJP MP Ravi Kishan, who shared a picture on social media, calling it the strength of the party where everyone is considered a worker first.

During the workshop, Prime Minister Modi was honoured for the government’s GST reforms. Union Minister Piyush Goyal presented a resolution of thanks, which was unanimously passed by BJP and NDA MPs. Lawmakers expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, noting that the reforms would ease tax burdens on people and strengthen the economy. The party expects these steps to benefit them in the upcoming Bihar elections.

Meanwhile, the scheduled NDA MPs’ dinner on September 8 at the Prime Minister’s residence was cancelled due to flood devastation in Punjab and other parts of the country. Earlier, BJP President JP Nadda’s planned dinner for MPs was also called off.
