Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with senior officials and district magistrates, stressing effective disaster management, law enforcement, reconstruction, tourism, and public facilities. He said ensuring relief, safety, and services for citizens remains the government’s top priority.
The CM directed officials to maintain adequate relief materials and dry ration during the monsoon, arrange proper shelter and food for disaster-hit families, and quickly assess crop, water supply, and infrastructure losses. He emphasized strict enforcement of restrictions on construction near rivers and warned of action against negligent officials.
Dhami instructed DMs to provide immediate financial aid to affected people, strengthen hospital facilities against dengue and water-borne diseases, and review health services regularly. He also called for strict monitoring of unauthorized IDs, suspicious activities, and tighter border security, along with action for cow protection.
On Char Dham Yatra, he directed timely weather updates for pilgrims and smooth operations post-monsoon. He also asked districts to send progress reports of CM announcements within 15 days and to regularly hold gram-level programs, public hearings, and multipurpose camps.
The CM further urged preparation for the upcoming Seva Pakhwada from September 17 to October 2, focusing on cleanliness, public services, and road repair. He also stressed continuous action under CM Helpline 1905, Anti-Corruption Campaign 1064, and regular disaster preparedness drills.
