SIT to Probe Graduate-Level Recruitment Exam Under Retired High Court Judge’s Supervision

Following directions from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to investigate alleged cheating in the Graduate-Level Recruitment Examination conducted by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) on September 21, 2025. The SIT will operate under the supervision of a retired High Court judge.

The SIT will conduct a thorough investigation into the alleged malpractice and submit its report to the state government within one month. The team is headed by Smt. Jaya Baluni, Superintendent of Police (Rural), Dehradun. Other members include Ankit Kandari (Tehsildar, Dehradun), Laxman Singh Negi (Inspector, Local Intelligence Unit, Dehradun), Girish Negi (Sub-Inspector/Station In-charge, Raipur, Dehradun), and Rajesh Dhyani (Sub-Inspector, Cyber Police Station, Dehradun).

The SIT has authority to seek assistance from other officials and experts as needed. Its jurisdiction covers the entire state, and it will examine information, complaints, and evidence from multiple sources. Based on the findings, the government will take appropriate action.
