Graphic Era celebrates Women’s World Cup Victory

Dehradun, 3 Nov: Indian women’s cricket team player and student of Graphic Era Deemed University, Sneh Rana, who created history by being part of the winning team at the ICC Women’s World Cup, said that to achieve success, “it is important to do whatever you do, with all your heart”.
She addressed the students of Graphic Era online today. The university celebrated with great joy the inclusion of its student Sneh Rana in the victorious Indian team.
In the evening, the spin bowler and all-rounder Sneh Rana joined the celebration through video conferencing. She said that nothing is impossible and advised students never to consider themselves weak, no matter which field they choose. To achieve success, she said, one must put their heart and full effort into everything they do. “No matter how difficult the circumstances, never lose hope. Hard work never goes in vain — when you give your best sincerely, success will follow,” she added.
The popular cricketer revealed that meditation and manifestation are the secrets behind her success. She said that miracles do happen in life, but only when they are backed by hard work and passion. Excited students congratulated her on India’s historic first victory in the Women’s World Cup and asked several questions. Sneh Rana encouraged them to stay committed, work sincerely, and stay focused on their goals to achieve success.
Students and faculty of the university celebrated the Indian team’s historic victory with great enthusiasm. The event was held in the BTech auditorium, where a large screen was set up for the video call with Sneh Rana, who is pursuing her MBA online from Graphic Era. She spoke with her classmates for quite some time, and students cut a large cake to mark the occasion. A resident of Sinola, Dehradun, Sneh Rana expressed her gratitude and joy at connecting with the university family.
Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Dr Kamal Ghanshala said that the Indian women’s team’s World Cup victory has made the entire nation proud, and that Sneh Rana, along with her teammates, has brought great honour to India. He shared that everyone at the university eagerly awaits her visit in person. Dr Ghanshala added that Sneh Rana had earlier showcased her talent by taking 15 wickets in the Women’s ODI Series, proving her strength and skill at the global level. He expressed confidence that she will continue to shine as one of the brightest stars in world cricket.
The celebration was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Santosh S Sarraf, Dean International Affairs, Dr DR Gangodkar, Director, Infrastructure, Dr Subhash Gupta, Head, PR and Marketing, Sahib Sablok, Akhil Negi, and other officials and faculty members.
