Uttarakhand Universities to Independently Manage Samarth Portal for Admissions Now

Srinagar, Uttarakhand: The Higher Education Department has decided that state universities will now independently manage the Samarth Portal to streamline undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. This move aims to ensure seamless academic processes and better coordination across institutions.

  • Samarth Portal Autonomy: Universities will handle portal operations to simplify admissions and academic activities.

  • Focus on Research and Employment: Universities to prioritize research and employment-oriented education.
  • Infrastructure and Quality Enhancements: Solar panels in colleges, biometric attendance for staff and students, and improved library resources.
