Agriculture Minister Joshi visits Badrinath Dham with family, offers prayers for state’s prosperity

Chamoli, 20 Nov: State Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ganesh Joshi visited the sacred Badrinath Dham this morning along with his family. He performed a traditional havan and puja and received the blessings of Lord Badri Vishal. On this occasion, the Minister prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being of all residents of the state.

During his visit, Minister Joshi interacted with pilgrims at the shrine and sought their feedback on the travel arrangements and facilities. He appreciated the efforts of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) for ensuring smooth arrangements for the devotees. He added that the state government is consistently working under the bigger Badrinath Master Plan to enhance facilities and ensure safe and convenient travel for all pilgrims.

As part of the visit, the Minister met with the Rawal and temple priests and held cordial discussions with haq-haquqdhari stakeholders. He also interacted with local shopkeepers, inquiring about their well-being and listening to their suggestions. Minister Joshi reaffirmed the government’s commitment to preserving the spiritual heritage of Badrinath Dham and promoting the overall development of the region.

Present on the occasion were Nirmala Joshi, BKTC Vice President Rishi Prasad Sati, Rawal Amarnath Namboodiri, BKTC CEO Vijay Thapliyal, along with several locals and devotees.
