Appointment Letters Distributed to Youths in Uttarakhand under PM Modi’s Rozgar Mela

Dehradun: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, appointment letters were issued to around 51,000 newly recruited candidates across the country through a virtual ceremony held on Friday as part of the ongoing Rozgar Mela initiative.

In Uttarakhand, the state-level event was organised at the Survey of India Auditorium in Dehradun. Chief Postmaster General of Uttarakhand Postal Circle, Shashi Shalini Kujur, attended as the Chief Guest and distributed appointment letters to 215 newly appointed candidates from various departments and organisations.

These included 59 recruits in the Postal Department, 14 in Railways, 81 in Central Armed Police Forces, 19 in the State Bank of India, 41 in Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited, and one in IIM Sirmaur.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Postmaster General Kujur congratulated the new appointees and urged them to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication. She said that the Rozgar Mela reflects the Prime Minister’s commitment to giving the highest priority to employment generation. Kujur added that the initiative will continue to serve as a catalyst for creating meaningful employment opportunities and empowering youth to contribute to national development.

The event was also attended by Ansuya Prasad Chamola, Director of Postal Services, Uttarakhand Circle; Anil Kumar Saini, Chief Welfare Officer, Railways; Arvind Khanduri, Assistant Commandant, ITBP; Rajeev Kumar Singh, Chief Manager, State Bank of India; and Jharna Dalai, HR Officer, THDC Limited, along with officers and staff of the Postal Department.
