The sacred Badrinath Dham is witnessing a massive influx of devotees, with over 66,000 pilgrims visiting the shrine in just four days. On Wednesday alone, 16,804 devotees arrived for darshan of Lord Badri Vishal. With a daily footfall exceeding 10,000, the temple town is abuzz with spiritual fervor and economic activity.
Long queues of pilgrims have been forming at the temple since early morning, reflecting the high enthusiasm among visitors. Despite afternoon rainfall and a dip in temperature on Wednesday, devotees remained undeterred. The total number of visitors has now reached 66,498, and if the current pace continues, the figure is expected to cross the one lakh mark soon.
The surge in pilgrimage has brought renewed energy to local traders and service providers, who are optimistic about a strong season ahead.
