In a coordinated operation involving police, central, and state intelligence agencies, five to six more Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested from various parts of Dehradun. The latest crackdown reflects growing efforts by authorities to identify and detain illegal migrants residing in the city.

Sources indicate that the arrested individuals had entered Dehradun in search of work, similar to the group of five Bangladeshi nationals apprehended earlier from the Clement Town area. One of the arrested individuals is reported to have frequented Dehradun multiple times, raising further concerns.

Upon receiving intelligence inputs, central agencies, in collaboration with state units and local police, launched a joint search operation across multiple localities in the capital. The coordinated effort led to the arrest of the illegal migrants, and a detailed briefing is expected from the agencies on Wednesday.

This series of arrests underscores increasing vigilance in Uttarakhand against the illegal entry and settlement of foreign nationals.
