A tragic accident occurred on Friday on Paonta Road in Dehradun, where a head-on collision between a taxi and a motorcycle near Adoowala led to the death of one youth and injury to a child.
According to reports, a taxi (Innova PB01C 2425) and a motorcycle (Splendor UK07 FW 6951) collided head-on. The deceased has been identified as Rajul (30), son of Ayub, a resident of Timli village in Vikasnagar. He died on the spot due to severe injuries.
A child riding on the motorcycle sustained a leg fracture and was rushed to Vivekanand Hospital in Dharmanwala, Sahaspur for treatment. Police have taken both vehicles into custody and are investigating the cause of the accident.
