BJP finalises plans for U’khand’s Silver Jubilee celebrations

Dehradun, 28 Oct: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today finalised its plans for the grand celebrations marking the Silver Jubilee Year of Uttarakhand’s formation. BJP State Media In charge Manveer Chauhan shared that the plans were finalised during a crucial virtual meeting attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, State In-Charge Dushyant Gautam, State Party President Mahendra Bhatt and the party’s general secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar held today.

The meeting reviewed the detailed schedule of events to be held from 1 to 11 November across the state.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami observed that the participation of President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the silver jubilee programmes in Uttarakhand is a matter of pride and encouragement for every resident of Uttarakhand. He emphasised that the series of events should be used to reflect upon the state’s achievements and to prepare a road map for the next twenty-five years with the active involvement of citizens.

Dhami also asserted that it is a privilege that the state, created under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, is celebrating its 25th year of establishment under a BJP government. He remarked that, under the guidance of PM Modi, Uttarakhand is witnessing a golden era of progress, marked by rapid development and rejuvenation of its spiritual and cultural heritage. The CM urged the Party to ensure the participation of every community, region, and household in the celebrations.

Dushyant Gautam observed that it is fortunate that the State created by Vajpayee is now being shaped under Modi’s vision. He claimed that the BJP has played a pivotal role in both the creation and the development of Uttarakhand, and the State is now progressing steadily towards becoming developed in its 25th year. He called upon workers to take the message of change and achievement to every household and to generate public enthusiasm for the State’s future goals.

BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt observed that the visits of the President and Prime Minister would infuse great enthusiasm among the people. He urged Party functionaries to ensure mass participation, even through virtual platforms, so that no citizen is left out of the Silver Jubilee celebrations.
