Dehradun: BJP leader Ravindra Jugran met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence and submitted a memorandum urging swift action on pending recruitment cases in the state.
Jugran emphasized the need to expedite ongoing recruitment processes, strengthen the government’s representation in cases pending before the Uttarakhand High Court, and ensure transparency in all appointments.
He highlighted three major recruitments currently under judicial review — the Police Constable Recruitment (2,000 posts) pending for about a year, Instructor Recruitment (370 posts) under consideration for seven months, and Draftsman Recruitment (77 posts) pending for six months.
Jugran proposed that the Chief Minister hold a high-level meeting involving the Chief Secretary, Secretary (Personnel), and the heads of both recruitment commissions to resolve the issues efficiently.
Chief Minister Dhami reportedly welcomed the suggestions and assured that an appropriate meeting would soon be convened to address the pending matters.
