BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt is consulting senior party leaders, including former chief ministers and MPs, before announcing his new team. The new team is likely to be formed in August after the panchayat elections.
To ensure a third consecutive win in the 2027 state elections, Bhatt is focused on building a strong and balanced team. He has held meetings with National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, MP Anil Baluni, and other senior leaders to gather input.
Sources indicate that underperforming office-bearers may be removed, especially those who hold dual responsibilities in the party and government. The party may also promote dedicated workers and induct fresh faces to improve organizational effectiveness. Bhatt is also aiming to maintain regional and caste balance in the team to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence.
