Discussions around the appointment of a new state president in Uttarakhand BJP have gained momentum. It is widely anticipated that the announcement could come by the end of this month. The key question remains whether the party leadership will choose an experienced politician, promote a young leader, or entrust the state unit’s leadership to a woman. The BJP has already declared its Mandal (zone) presidents. A panel of candidates for the 19 district president posts was sent to the central leadership, and some names have now been finalized.
