The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced new district executives in 16 districts of Uttarakhand, while the panels for Chamoli, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar will be declared later. The appointments include vice presidents, general secretaries, district ministers, treasurers, office ministers, assistant office ministers, media convenors, IT convenors, and social media convenors.
State media in-charge Manveer Chauhan confirmed that the district executives were finalized with the approval of state president Mahendra Bhatt. The committees have been announced for Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Rishikesh, Roorkee, Champawat, Almora, Kashipur, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun Rural, Pauri, Haridwar, Dehradun Metropolitan, Ranikhet, Nainital, and Kotdwar.
Meanwhile, the announcement of the state executive is still awaited. It is expected that the state committee may be finalized during Navratri, as the Pitru Paksha period will begin on September 7.
