BKTC Chairman Meets CM Dhami, Briefs on Pilgrimage Management at Badrinath and Kedarnath

BKTC (Badri-Kedar Temple Committee) Chairman Hemant Dwiwedi met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the CM’s residence on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing pilgrimage arrangements and temple management. During the meeting, Dwiwedi briefed the Chief Minister on the facilities being provided to pilgrims at Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines.

He informed that over 13.15 lakh devotees have visited Kedarnath Dham so far, while Badrinath Dham has witnessed around 10.92 lakh pilgrims this season. He added that not only the two main shrines, but other 45 temples under the BKTC have also seen a notable rise in pilgrim footfall.

The Chairman assured that smooth and accessible darshan arrangements have been ensured for devotees across all temples. The meeting underlined the government’s continuous focus on managing the Char Dham Yatra efficiently while enhancing pilgrim experience and safety.
