Dehradun – Registrations for Char Dham Yatra 2025 will begin tomorrow, with Aadhaar-based verification being mandatory. Secretary of Tourism, Sachin Kurve, stated that 60% of registrations will be online and 40% offline to ensure smooth processing for all pilgrims. Additional registration centers will be set up along the routes, including in Haridwar and Rishikesh, and will operate 24/7 for the first 15 days. Pilgrims can register online at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in.
This year, significant improvements in health and safety measures have been introduced. The government will deploy 154 ambulances, including helicopter and boat ambulances, and monitor pilgrims’ health through the E-Swasthya Dham portal. Hospitals with 17 beds in Kedarnath and 45 beds in Badrinath will be operational, along with 25 specialist doctors stationed along the route.
Authorities urge travelers to complete Aadhaar-verified registration, provide accurate health details, carry essential medicines and warm clothing, and book helicopter tickets only through heliyatra.irctc.co.in. Pilgrims are also advised to maintain cleanliness and follow safety guidelines for a smooth journey.
