ITBP Deployed at Rishikesh Checkposts for Char Dham Yatra

To ensure the safety of pilgrims and travelers during the ongoing Char Dham Yatra, the district administration has made strict security arrangements. Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel have been deployed at key checkposts in Tehri district, particularly at Bhadrakali and Brahmpuri. District Magistrate Mayur Dikshit and SSP Ayush Agarwal stated that comprehensive measures have been taken to make the yatra smooth, safe, and successful.

With the first leg of the Char Dham Yatra passing through Rishikesh and into Tehri district, heightened vigilance has been maintained, especially following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. The administration is exercising extra caution to prevent any untoward incident. Police tourism centers have been set up at various locations to assist travelers and ensure a hassle-free experience.

The deployment of ITBP jawans at the entry points of Bhadrakali and Brahmpuri aims to prevent any security breach during routine checks. These arrangements are designed to offer a safe and peaceful pilgrimage experience to all, allowing devotees to complete their spiritual journey with confidence and comfort.
