Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was felicitated by various religious and social organisations for his efforts toward a corruption-free Uttarakhand. During the ceremony, the CM administered an oath to all attendees to support the vision of a corruption-free state.
Addressing the gathering, Dhami described public support as the strongest pillar of the campaign. He said the event was not just a felicitation but a celebration of the dream to build an honest and transparent Uttarakhand. “This recognition belongs to the 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand who believe in integrity and accountability,” he said.
Highlighting key initiatives, Dhami said the government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. Measures include tech-based systems such as online transfers, monitored recruitment exams, and public grievance mechanisms like CM Helpline 1905 and anti-corruption helpline 1064. Over the last three years, more than 200 individuals involved in corruption have been jailed.
He added that over 24,000 government jobs have been provided in four years, and the state has taken bold legislative steps such as implementing the Uniform Civil Code, enacting anti-cheating laws, and introducing strict measures against land jihad, love jihad, illegal conversions, and rioting.
Dhami also reiterated the continuation of ‘Operation Kaalnemi’ to identify individuals living under false identities. Over 200 suspicious individuals have been apprehended so far, including Bangladeshi infiltrators. He urged the public to report such elements to the police without delay.
